Join us in downtown Smithfield, NC as part of the 40th annual Ham & Yam Festival for the exciting Hog Trot 5K and the half-mile Piglet Stampede!
The starting point for both the 5K and the Piglet Stampede will be the Girl Scout Hut located at 306 S. Second Street, Smithfield, NC. The stampede starts at 8:30am and the 5K at 9:00am. Both races will be run out and back on the scenic Neuse River Greenway.
We will have waters available for participants after the race as well as at the turn-around point and bananas available after the race. After the runners have returned, we will pass out the age group awards and the overall top finishers.
Registration Prices:
- Hot Trot 5K: $40
- Piglet Stampede Kids Run: $10
Registration includes a Gildan Softstyle t-shirt (YS-3XL). Last day to be guaranteed a shirt on race day is Friday, April 10th.
